     Welcome to the Lifeline Express Training website. After a hiatus caused by the COVID-19 pandemic the Lifeline Express Consultant Program has resumed its multiple teaching activities. The goal of the Consultant Program is to bring subspecialty trained ophthalmologists from other countries to China for short terms of in-residence teaching. During these visits, consultants will participate in didactic lectures, small group teaching sessions and examination of patients in hospital centers throughout the country. In some cases, new surgical techniques will be demonstrated in the operating theatre. Utilizing these different formats consultants will aim to transfer new information and skills to their Chinese colleagues. On this website you will able to review the activities of the Lifeline Express Consultant Program, including most of the lectures delivered by the consultants. We look forward to receiving your feedback about ways in which this website has been helpful, as well as your suggestions as to how it may be improved.
